My Travel Adventures: From South Korea to Portugal

Having lived in South-Korea, Busan for 7 years I have many stories to share. Besides that there are many other countries I have visited. Join me on a virtual journey where I talk about the best BJJ gyms to visit, places to eat and more.

1. South Korea: Busan, Seoul, Jeju Island

In South Korea, tourism is booming. More and more foreigners come to seek the vibrant culture, the great Korean dishes, beautiful mountains and locations.
Personally, I used to live, study, train and work in Busan, a beautiful city next to the sea. In my blogs about South-Korea you can expect anything from tips on living, working and studying there, advice on places to visit, food to try and of course the best BJJ gyms to visit.

2. Vietnam: Ho Chi Minh City, Mui ne

Nestled in the heart of Vietnam, Saigon is a city that captivates the senses and leaves a lasting impression on all who visit. From its bustling streets filled with motorbikes to its vibrant markets and rich history, there is no shortage of things to see and do in this dynamic metropolis.

3. Portugal: Porto

Located along the banks of the Douro River, Porto is a city that exudes old-world charm and rich history. As the second-largest city in Portugal, Porto is a hidden gem just waiting to be explored by travelers seeking a unique and authentic European experience. From its stunning architecture to its delicious cuisine and vibrant cultural scene, Porto has something for everyone. Having only visited Porto for a few days, I will share with you my experience with the famous São João festival, training, food and more.

4. Spain: Malaga, Madrid

Malaga, Spain! Located on the stunning Costa del Sol, Malaga is a vibrant city that seamlessly blends a rich historical heritage with modern amenities, making it a must-visit destination for any traveler. I visited Malaga to prepare for a BJJ competition in Madrid but did not expect great food, great views, friendly people and more. Let me give you tips on where to stay, costs, training, food and places to visit in both Malaga and Madrid.

So far I have also visited France, Belgium, Turkey, Japan and of course living in the Netherlands, I can give you many tips about training and travelling here as well.
